1. The Roxana Community Gymnasium, administered by the Roxana Recreation Department, is made available for use by approved groups or organizations for athletic activities.

2. The Roxana Gym can only be used for volleyball and basketball.

3. Anyone not participating in a Roxana League, or those wishing to use the facility beyond regular gym hours (Saturdays and Sundays), will be charged a fee of $35.00 for a minimum two-hour rental and $15.00 for each additional hour.

4. Application for use of the gym must be made in person at the gym or Rox Arena at least two weeks before the date needed. The individual renting the facility must be at least 18 years of age on the date the reservation is made, financially responsible for damages and the conduct of their group, agrees to be bound by all rules, regulations, policies and ordinances of the Department and Village and will be present during the entire reservation time.

5. The Roxana Recreation Department reserves the right to refuse the use of its facilities to any individual or organization.

6. Reservation for the use of the gym will be accepted for the current gym season or, if between seasons, for the up-coming season only. We encourage qualified individuals to make their reservations as early as possible. We grant reservations on a “first come first serve” basis.

7. Applicants making the reservation will be considered responsible for any thefts, or damage to Village or Recreation Department property and shall reimburse the Village or Recreation Department for any repairs made necessary by theft or damage.

8. The Recreation Department reserves the right to require that the applicant furnish evidence of bond or certificate of insurance. The Village, Recreation Department, and its employees or officers shall not be responsible for damage to or loss of property or injury to persons while on Village premises regardless of whether they are participants or spectators.

9. No equipment shall be installed or alterations made to existing facilities without the expressed permission and approval of the Roxana Community Park Director.

10. NON-MARKING GYM SHOES ONLY ON GYM FLOOR.

11. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED ON VILLAGE PROPERTY OR WITHIN RECREATION DEPARTMENT FACILITIES.

12. NO SMOKING, E-CIGS, OR VAPING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE GYM. (MUST BE 15 FEET FROM DOOR)

13. INDIVIDUALS MAKING RESERVATIONS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE DURING THE ENTIRE ACTIVITY. THE ACTIVITY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IF THE INDIVIDUAL WHO MADE THE RESERVATION FAILS TO ATTEND.

14. The applicant making the reservation will be held responsible for compliance with these rules and regulations by all persons participating in their activity. Failure to comply with these rules and regulations and other rules posted at the gym will be sufficient cause for any cancellation of the use of the facility.
