Hey folks! Roxana Community Park District is happy to announce that we have been awarded the 2020 IPRA/PlayCore playground grant. The new playground will be part of the “PLAY ON” initiative including six key elements which promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles for children. Roxana Park will be a national demonstration sight, leading the Metro East in providing data and outcomes that will be beneficial for other agencies to replicate.
We are so excited to have been chosen for this opportunity. Please watch for the construction to begin later in the summer!
